Booking Conditions

Bookings are usually Saturday-to-Saturday although we will look at other possibilities including weekend and midweek breaks.

PAYMENT – The balance will be due one month before the commencement of the let. Should the let be cancelled, any monies paid, less any deposit, will be refunded if the lodge can be re-let. We suggest that you consider taking out holiday insurance.

OCCUPATION – From 1600hrs on the day of arrival until 1000hrs on the day of departure. Please note that we require all occupants to respect the ‘No Smoking’ policy in the lodge.

HEATING AND ELECTRICITY – The lodge is very well insulated, all electric and all electricity costs are included in the tariff. There is a nominal charge of £1 for each use of the washing machine/tumble drier (wash tablets provided).

DOGS – Are welcome but not on the furniture or in the bedrooms please. Would owners keep dogs on a lead in the garden at all times. There is a charge of £10 per dog.

DOMESTIC ARRANGEMENTS – The lodge has a duvet and two pillows on each bed. Bedding and towels are provided. We ask that guests bring their own towels for the beach and swimming.

CLEANING – The lodge is cleaned and inspected prior to your arrival and we would appreciate your cooperation in leaving the lodge in a similar condition.

BREAKAGES – We reserve the right to charge for any breakages or damage done to any property or equipment.

WATER SUPPLY – This is private from a spring on the hill, and is of excellent quality. Each lodge has a UV water filter. We cannot however guarantee the water supply in an extended dry spell.

MOBILE PHONE RECEPTION – The only mobile network that can be received here is Vodafone. Other networks may be accessed from the top of the hill, two minutes by car, ten minutes on foot.

RESOURCES – There are OS 1:25,000 (2½”) Explorer maps covering the island and walking guides, together with books, games and toys. There is also a DVD player and a separate CD player.
